The start of a new semester

I wanted to put “The end of Inter-semester break” as my post title initially, but figure I should write something positive because it’s still Chinese New Year. Since we can always choose the way we put our words, either positively or negatively, why not positive, right? Hehe.

So as you can see, today is the first day of a new semester. Started off with getting up from bed very reluctantly, continued by getting on a brand new bus service- Orange bus(First group), followed by 4 series of lecture with a 2-hours-break in between and ended with attending Buddhist Meditation Society’s weekly gathering! Everything is just nice and could have been a little bit better if I get enough sleep. lol.

Anyway, talking about the just-ended-inter-semester-break, I had a really really good holiday back then! Went to Oxford for a day trip with Andrew’s friend, Keiran as our tour guide. Then, the very lovely gang of Mancunians friends came over for the weekend in conjunction with Chinese New Year! Seriously, I couldn’t have been any happier. It’s always comfortable and happy with them around and I enjoy having them here! This will be a really memorable CNY celebration even though I didn’t manage to celebrate it with my family and relatives. Oh btw! I skyped with them on the reunion dinner( with me wearing the pyjamas as I wasn’t informed that I’ll be “brought” to meet my relatives at my grandma’s place =.=’ ), then my nieces all sang CNY songs to me! I’m really touched and happy! I personally don’t like dealing with kids but hey, they’re so adorable when they’re singing with their angelic voice, wearing cheongsam somemore, I have no resistance towards cute things, not to mention cute people! I *heart* all my family and relatives!

There is just one tiny thing bothering me right now, hope I can get my head around it very soon as fyi, my brain is not really for complicated stuffs.

Anyway, people, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! All the best and stay healthy!

Monday

Midvalley (10.30am till 7.00pm)

Was dating with Carol that day. She came over to pick me up and we went to Giant, wanting to have panmee and her contact lenses done. Unfortunately, shops weren’t open yet and even MeiYi was closed that day. So, we proceeded with our plan and went straight to Midvalley. Didn’t get lost BUT we missed a turn and have to start ALL OVER AGAIN, from Taman Connaught. Felt guilty for wasting Carol’s petrol! ><! Anyway, we finally reached Midvalley and found a parking lot around 12.30pm(lucky us! ^^v). Had KimGary then shopping. Got myself a pair of jeans while Carol got herself a pair of jeans, shirt and contact lenses! Simply loving it~ haha. Then, out of sudden, we went for a movie! Despicable Me!!! Got 4.30pm’s ticket and it finished at 6.00pm something. Nothing exceptionally exciting about this movie though. Nevertheless, it’s a cute movie! haha. Then, Carol sent me home and that was the end of our date! haha. Seriously, sometime I would think that she is my bf! She acted like one! haha. But chill people, I’m very very normal and I still love Jerry! hahaha.

Seriously, this is LOVELY!!!! I <3 it so much!! Malaysia’s 珍珠奶茶 is INCOMPARABLE with this. They use fresh milk and the 珍珠(or what they call 粉圆) is super Q with black sugar’s taste in it! My heart melted while drinking it!

Anyway, will introduce more lovely food soon.

Easter Holiday

Bon Pasqua!!!! I'll been having easter holiday starting from tomorow! Though I have one day extra myself~ haha. Anyway, I'll be off for one week, to Paris and Amsterdam. I know I know, I haven't been updating. But I'm just tied up with too much stuffs! Sorry readers~ hehe. Anyway, I'll be back! LOL.

Yeah~ Happy~ Know why? My essay is safe~

I heard people asking wha? what happened?

To cut the story short, we have assignment(an essay) to hand in by last Friday. I handed in on Friday morning and thought that it's done. Then, I happily enjoy my weekend in London. In fact, it was a really really leisure and happy weekend know? Anyway, back to the story. Then, when I'm back in Bath on Sunday, I checked my hotmail, my facebook, my Moodle and lastly, my webmail. A BIG MISTAKE for not really checking my mails in London back then. Apparently, the format of my essay is not compatible with the format required by the university, ie: Not in Microsoft word 2003 version. Hence, the lecturer actually asked me to re-upload my essay on Friday itself. But due to my ignorance, I didn't do so. On Sunday, with the help of Carol, I managed to convert my document to the correct format but there isn't any way for me to re-upload the essay since it's well past the due date. Dead panic. I emailed the lecturer and impatiently waited for his reply. Luckily there were a few of us, so I'm not that scare. But in short, it hasn't been a good start of the week for me. We've been going to his office a few times to meet him in person and discuss with him regarding this matter. However, he's not in! Then, today after my lectures at 12.15pm, Carol and I went again to try our luck. *think Carol brought me luck?haha* And guess what? HE'S IN! The door was opened and I admit, I'm a little bit scare~ But anyway, I just went in and tell him everything. He's going harsh on me in the beginning, and it's really harsh. He even told me off and say he'll not do anything to help me out! That really scared me. But luckily, it's only some of his tricks of scaring the students so that next time they'll be more careful and really go according to the instruction. So yea, he asked me to come back half an hour later and check things back. Half an hour later, I went there again with another 2 friends of mine who have the same problem as me and 20 minutes later, everything is settled! A few marks will be deducted though but hey, at least our essays are accepted! So I'm being really grateful now!

So one problem is off and it's a beautiful week after all~ haha. Oh ya, I'm officially an o2 user now but I'll be retaining the same number so that I can save all the trouble of informing every party. Yeah Yeah~

And what's next? We're going to have a big feast this coming Friday!! Quite a number of us are actually trying to attempt Malaysian Food know? Like Aqilah, she's making cucuk pisang!! And Cheok Ee and I, we'll be doing Nasi Lemak(Without sambal though) and curry! Hooray x3. I'll try making a real Nasi Lemak WITH sambal next time! and maybe Laksa? haha.

I've finished attending all 10 dancing lessons yesterday. I've learned some Waltz, Quick step, ChaChaCha, Jive and perhaps a bit of the Foxtrot. Still considering whether or not to continue learning in Sem 2. Hmph~

After today, I wouldn't be having any French assessments! Yeah~

After this week, I'm done with all the essays and just left with 3 more assignments- Statistics, Analytic and Ethics.

After this week, it's the last week of my sem 1!!!! And then, IT'S HOLIDAY~ Hooray x5! LOL.

My post looks so messy and of no order. Bear with me, I'm just being really excited when I'm posting up this. haha.

p/s: Sorry to BAMSA for not attending the Christmas Dinner last night. I know you guys have put in a lot of effort and money into that. But I'm just not in the mood of going out last night. Sorry! =/

What? I'm HAPPY! hehe..

yeah yeah yeah... well, seems like I'm having quite a nice mood lately and i love the feeling of being happy all the day! yup, smiling and laughing over tiny matters are all i want to do(apart from studying and scoring high marks in exam of course). There is a saying, laughter is the best medicine. I don't know about other, but i definitely agree to that. What's more, nothing can buy happiness and time. Therefore, i would like to record my moment of happiness[start singing "a moment like this~ some people wait for a life time~ and a moment like this~ some people search forever~ haha.. ] here to share with all of my friends as well as being the opening of blog. That's right! you're actually "witnessing" my blog's official opening ceremony. Feeling proud? ya, you should! haha..

Today, my friend, pooiyee has officially came to UCSI to study pharmacy!! I'm super duper excited about that. HOWever, she's staying in north wing, so i can't bersuka-ria with her la. Sad for us, but good for all the residents in UCSI hostel(especially the Iran guy. haha.) Then, yesterday my friend in uk phoned to chat with me le~ I thought he had somehow forgotten me but luckily the opposite is the truth. phew~ haha. This afternoon, me, caroy, jackie, xy and jhony went to leisure mall. Initially, jackie was the one who wanted to go as his keyboard had spoiled and wanted to go for an exchange. So, caroy be the chauffeur of the day. haha. Then, xy and i decided to join and be the light bulb(sorry to jackie and caroy ar!) While we're walking down to caroy's car, we met with jhony and he decided to join us as well. So, a total of 5 of us went and the best part is that we were back to UCSI 3 hours later. This was mainly due to the shopaholic-ness of girls. Pity the two guys, sitting on the chair and waited for us to try on this and that. haha. At night, we had a meeting, between group facilitators and station masters. All of us worked hand in hand to make the gathering(between juniors and seniors) which happened on last Thursday a super successful one. The only drawback of it was that we're kind of over budget. But i think we'll sort things out eventually. hehe. After that, we had our OWN trip meeting. Everything went on smooth and nice. Tickets to and fro the places that we want to go as well as the number of tickets were fixed. We had also decided to go to pudu to buy the bus tickets this Saturday. So that history wouldn't repeat itself. I mean, my history of not being able to buy the bus ticket! It was seriously a painful experience. I'm close to breakdown that day(well, a little bit of salt had been added) but thanks to my friends, I went to midvalley to shop and discard all my bad mood! hehe. Okay, back to what I were saying just now. Oh, about the trip. It was a small trip starting from 15th of august. We are about to visit Malacca, Ipoh(my hometown) as well as Kedah(specifically Sungai Petani, which is jenny's hometwon. haha). Hopefully the trip will turn out to be short and sweet and memorable! hehe. And now, I'm looking forward to friday~ somebody is going to treat us(PR group) Mcdonald ice-cream~~ I'm Loving It~~.. haha..

Oh, I almost forget to mention about the new affinity that caroy had developed toward Jackie. Pity 194 though. Hope that he'll be all right with the support of yewlee. All the best to all!
